I suppose it's appropriate to post this here as well, considering it's AFI related. If I've done wrong by opening a new thread or if this should've been posted in an already existing thread somewhere feel free to tell me.



I think it's because of shadows cast from giant eyelashes, but everytime I see the video it looks like Davey has on these black contacts or something.

The only thing really bothering me is the jaw being a little too wide down where it curves into his ear, and how the trenchcoat looks all around awful, it's almost a disservice how shitty it looks. I tried hard, though.

Been a member of the boards for quite a few years now, but very rarely post. Prefer to keep to myself and just watch what everyone else does. But my friend and my self have just released our new album ( in oz, but it should be on itunes and the like very shortly, just deciding on who we go with.) but now im curious. AFI is both of our favorite bands. Both covered in AFI tattoos, our house is a virtual shrine to the band (we started playing 12 years ago cause we first started chatting about the band.) and id love to hear what other AFI fans think. Not trying to sell more albums (but do feel free lol) just wonder what other fans of our fave band think of it. Welll...I don't know if I ever posted anything, but I used to write and record a lot of music. I've slowed down quite a bit but I've been getting pretty into writing again. Unfortunately I don't record much, but I do like to make videos of me playing songs. I hate whoring my crap out, but you're all nice people...

Hi Everyone

Remember about 2 years ago when I said that I wanted to document the beginning and progression of a band from the very beginning. I think the thread might still be up here somewhere.

Well, it's not the same band, but the same principle applies. I joined another band with my friends and yesterday
we uploaded one of our songs - 'The Masquerade.' So a couples of years' work finally getting out.

SO, I thought I'd start one of these so I have a place to dump all the art that is hiding in my photobucket. It'll probably be mostly AFI stuff (*points to title*), but these days thats where most of my inspiration comes from.

This is the most recent out of everything so far, it's an illustration for my Art & Design Historical project (which I'm doing on Art, Music and Performance). Because you might recognise the pose it's from one of Ryan Muirhead's photos from the Troubadour shows. It's unfinished, as you can probably see, so any constructive crit is greatly appreciated!

some project thing few years ago when teacher says, OK we're going to make teacher portraits so what i did was make a teacher portrait. she is a cool teacher tho.


Some stuff on scratch board. Weird hand-leg thing, big sun with arms coming over the clouds to gobble up the weird body-bag guy. much shading done with steel wool, which stinks (literally) a lot. oh and his eyes are closed.

I was gonna post my first (and only) acrylic done a while back, but photoshop told me i couldn't log in. if it still isn't working in a few minutes, I'll try tomorrow (or um later today), and i'll return also with better-quality snappies and maybe with tiny mistakes fixed.

Well my wife is a Wedding/Portrait photographer and I have been learning from her for about 2 years now. But I am more interested in the commercial/fashion side of photography. This past week we have a friend that owns a modeling agency here in Arizona and she let us use some of her models to shoot so we rented some rad hotel rooms in Scottsdale and these are my shots that I like the most.... Any feedback would be sweet

The models were obviously gorgeous and super rad.
