Making these fake copies is extremely profitable. Each Dork sells for $500 the cheapest, and making a vinyl is way cheaper than that.

There is a way to know that a Dork EP is fake. While the legit Dorks have one set of serial etched near the center of the vinyl, the fake ones have two; one of them is made by the factory that manufactured the vinyl, and the other set is manually etched with the original serial.

The etched serials on the fake copies are:

AFI's side
Factory etched serial: a59276-m-a
Manually etched serial: 163680-a (or 1636860-a)

Loose Change's side
Factory etched serial: a59276-m-b
Manually etched serial: 163680-b (or 1636860-B)

AFI Series recommends to abstain from buying Dork EP copies from eBay unless you cna be absolutely sure that the copy is legit and that you trust the seller. "Return policy" sellers would be better as you can return in original condition for a refund if it's a boot.

So I remember there was a list written (allegedly) by Jade of songs he was listening to back in 2005. Some of the titles no one knew. And then DU came out months and months later and we went back and found the tracks resembled early titles of DU tracks.

So I was wondering if anyone (Alli?) remembers them.

No one could have had DU tracks, or had a tracks to rename to DU titles long befor ethe album was released. We didn't know what the tracks were until June-ish

In the recent "In Transmission" video, Davey says he released lyrics for a song called "BNreath Play" but a google search turned up nothing. Does anyone here have these?

I wanna say I read/heard somewhere that Hunter's favorite AFI release was BSITS? Though its inevitable, I wish interviews weren't so one sided with the band. That side, being Davey and Jade. I really wanna know what Adam and Hunter think of new AFI. I mean I know they like it, but i'd really love to hear a sit down interview with them (let alone all members) where they start with the first album, discuss the album, talk about where they were as people and repeat the same thing up to CL.

Though I love all members equally i've really grown to appreciate Adam and Hunter with how much Dave has lost touch with who he used to be. Theres a part of me that feels like if Jade wanted to write AOD2 tomorrow Adam and Hunter would totally be down. I mean coming from a drummers point of view pre-DU songs are a lot more fun and busy in the drum department.

I guess I just wanna say props to them for staying the same people they were when they pretty much joined the band. I have nothing against Jade or Davey for changing, its just its not often you meet people who figured out who they are so young. I mean sure, I don't know these dudes, they're not my buddies they've probally changed a bit but theres a big difference between Adam/Hunter vs. Davey/Jade.

Watch the vid. It looks to me like something weird is going on between Davey and Jade. Like...Davey almost always goes to Jade at shows, but now he's really obviously ignoring him. And whenever Jade tries to come over, Davey won't even look him in the eye. Jade is practically following him around, but Davey just isn't having it. I mean, I've been watching live afi vids forever and I've NEVER seen the two of them act this way with each other. They're both acting really weird.

Does anyone else see this, or is it just me?
