i forgot to add, in the middle Davey throws off this mat that was randomly on stage, his face was priceless after he did, he was like cracking up while singing!!!

In NYC it was the same thing, he basically hit "Play" and walked away from the instruments. He could do that for the entire set, and as long as he stayed in close proximity to the instruments and did the occasional button pressing, no one would be the wiser.

This was always the problem I had with seeing bands of this genre live. Although as long as the frontmen do a good job, as Davey did (see also: The Prodigy, VNV Nation), the show can still be really entertaining despite the music being played in a suspect manner.

YESSSSS. Hahaha. I still can't believe she managed to hit him right in the leg and make him nearly fall over. Oh man.

He was totally cool about it when we talked to him after the show, though, luckily. Watching the end of the video still cracks me up so much. We felt so bad and he was just sort of like "Oh! Thanks!" After regaining his balance.
