Yeah, if somebody heard someone yell "HOLY SHIT" as loud as they could at the beginning of Despair Factor, it was me. Most certainly the highlight of the night.

The Grand Prairie show is going to have a hard time topping that.

Hahaha, now that I think about it. I think i DID hear someone say that? But as soon as that drum beat kicked in, Snakes and I looked at each other (we had been talking about what TOAD they would play and was hoping for TDF/Ever and a Day) and when it came on, we just fucking LOST IT.

Yeah, I said it within moments of the first drum beat, so it was pretty audible. It was my second best quote of the night.

My crowning moment of awesome was, after the fourth time the opener name dropped "AFI" to get a cheap pop from the crowd, I remarked: "I'm glad this isn't a drinking game, or I'd be tanked by now."

Austin setlist:

Torch Song
Girl's Not Grey
Leaving Song Pt. II
Veronica Sawyer Smokes
Kill Caustic
Days of the Phoenix
End Transmission
Nyquil or a cover of the Descendants' "Bikeage" (we voted Nyquil)
Beautiful Thieves
Dancing Through Sunday
The Leaving Song
On the Arrow
Death of Seasons
Medicate
Miss Murder
----
Too Shy to Scream
Love Like Winter
Silver and Cold

i voted for Bikeage. it would have been rad to see them play something no one else got to see.

so there you have it Stephen, looks like h-town got the better setlist. although, i must say, the crowd at the Austin show was much better.

great fucking weekend.
