This thread is to post the set list of shows for 2006. If someone could take a pen and just note eahc song on their hand or something, we'd really appreciate it. I know it's hard when you're in the atmosphere of the show.

Alternatively, when the show ends and everyone starts leavng the pit, GO TO THE FRONT OF THE STAGE! Then ask the roadies or venue staff if you can have the set list.

I haven't spent too much time on it because the entire site will be getting a makeover soon. When I have time, each show will be getting its own individual page where people can submit the tour poster, setlist, and more.

I decided to leave out times and all that and just link to sites to avoid having wrong info on the page.

We've also decided to do away with the downloadable set list and tour poster guides and move everything into the database and make it viewable on our site.

If anyone has any suggestions for this page or the individual show pages, I'd love to hear them. When it gets bigger it'll be harder to manage. Ways to allow people to sort, ways to search, best way to archive since it obviously can't all be on one page. What kinds of info should we be saving for each show, etc. We may not be able to do all that much to improve past info, but there are tons of shows in front of us!

My friend I was going to the Grand Rapids, MI show tomorrow bailed on me yesterday evening. I bought his ticket 'cause he didn't have the money for it. And I pretty much don't have any friends that live around here that like AFI/are free to go on such late notice.

Hey all... I'd say this is my first post in a good few years... anyhoo now to business...

I went to the gig at the Academy in my lovely lovely home city, Manchester (a city whose music helped Davey become the person he is today, his words). This was, I think, the 10th maybe 11th time I have seen them? My first being at joesphs well in leeds on the AoD tour... ah the good old days... and like most old fans I tend to just bitch and moan at whats has become of my beloved AFI...

So there you have it. The set thrown up two suprises but I think they have been putting them in on this tour anyway. The songs from Crash Love (which as an album I think is ok, better than I hoped after DU) when played live lack power, emotion, intensity, connection with the fans, basically all the things AFI once was both live and on record. The encore, was dreadful, LLW is an apalling song on record, and live, it makes me cringe.

I could go on and on about what I/we want to hear but its all been said before.... **cough cough narrative, wester, last kiss, fall children cough cough**

Okay, so I have a small dilemma.
I am going to the AFI/Green Day show August 16th in Boston. I don't know if anyone on here is going, but if you are and you have a seat ticket, I would be willing to switch.
My sister got pit tickets, which, while they are sweet, makes me very nervous. i have mild cerebral palsy and am only 4'8''.
I can deal, but would prefer a seat, and would much rather switch my ticket with someone on the Series if they are attending.

That being said, I am wicked excited as this is my first afi show ever.

So excited! I'm gonna be at both shows. I hope I'll see someone there! Except I don't think anyone on the board is in WA

So, it seems like AFI will be headlining the second day (Friday, December 4th) of the "How the Edge Stole X-Mas" festival at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas. They'll be playing alongside 30 Seconds to Mars and a few other bands that escape my mind at the moment. I'm going, making for my second show in three weekends (Texas is getting a hell of a lot of AFI this fall). Anyone else heading that way?
